Is it difficult to find a dress to wear to those fall weddings? Or maybe you have a party or business event to attend and you don’t want to look like you’re going to the office; however, you don’t need formal attire either. I know, I’ve been there…but I found a great solution!
This cold shoulder maxi dress is great for this time of year! Its deep wine color is the perfect shade for fall and its versatility couldn’t be more awesome! I love how the cold shoulders are great for the daytime and early evening when it’s warmer and the length is great for cooler nights! It’s very easy to just throw on a shrug, scarf, or cardigan to convert those cold shoulders into warm ones! 😉
In addition to the cold shoulders, I love the thigh high slit! It totally elevates the dress and gives it another awesome feature, don’t you think?
I paired this dress with black strappy wedge sandals and (you guessed it!!) my Stella and Dot earrings. I like simple, easy earrings and prefer to change up and accessorize with my necklaces. Because of this, my Stella & Dot silver hoops and gold hoops are my go-to pairs of earrings!
The nail color I like to wear with this is My Private Jet from the OPI Night Brights Collection. It is an older color, but it’s one of my absolute favorites! It’s a smoky black/brown with a holographic shimmer look to it. Awesome choice to dress up an outfit!
I photographed the dress indoors and outdoors so you can see what it looks like in different lighting. It truly is a wine color though and not the hot pink/magenta color it looks to be in the sun.
I got the dress and the shoes from the Mint Julep Boutique and you can order off their website as they do not have a storefront. The earrings are from Stella & Dot. These particular ones look to have been discontinued 🙁 , but they have very similar ones that I love and would work perfectly with this outfit!
Hopefully, this has given you good ideas for the fall and those in-between weather events! Can’t wait to share new looks with you soon! Until then…
